There is nothing better than a day on the water with friends. It did take a few hours to get there, a few coffees and a board repair later we rolled up at Bilgola. Today the south swell had trouble getting into a lot of the beaches but there was a bit of a wave. I do love the photo of the boat launching over the surf. I was shooting off an 11mm wide angle so that boat was actually a hell of a lot closer to me than it looks in the photo. It was pretty amazing to see them in action. I also like Photo 3 there, it’s Dan O’Callaghan on the blue McCoy board and Dave McDonnell on the yellow board.
Another great weekend closes out, So next weekend we are hitting the Central Coast and hitting some class surf spots on the way. Roll on next weekend….. I can’t wait.
